| I'm an American cosplayer and animator. I've been making and wearing cosplay since 2004 and attending conventions since 2007. I've won several awards for my craftsmanship over the years, been featured in publications, and have had the honor to attend anime conventions as a cosplay guest. To me, cosplaying is being able to walk in the shoes of the characters you love. Through cosplay, we are able to become stronger and take on the qualities we admire in those characters, and cosplaying at conventions allows us to meet new people who share the same interests. I was outcasted in my high school for liking anime and wearing cosplay for club events, but now I've been able to travel to so many places and have met so many friends that I consider my cosplay family. It's been a life-changing journey for me, and I've grown so much as a person. I can't wait to see what the future holds. |
